Preparing God's Word for your heart
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
Noah was a just man.
The just shall live by faith.—Noah builded an altar unto the Lord ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a sweet savour.—The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe for there is no difference.
We . . . joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect ? It is God that justifieth.—Whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified.
There is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.—There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.—How can he be clean that is born of a woman?
Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
The Lord . . . hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.—Whom he justified, them he also glorified.—We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.—If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel.
Walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son. Moreover whom be did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
That we should be holy and without blame before him in love.
God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: whereunto he called you, . . . to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.—Whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.—Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.—God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
